Buyer Command Center

Each tile is one buying department. Every day the system looks at your budget, what you've already spent, how many orders you have left this month, and how much time is remaining — then gives you one clear answer: should you order today, and how much?

How It Calculates
Your dept budget = monthly dept sales × your spend %. The system divides what's left evenly across your remaining order cycles to arrive at today's suggested order amount. If you've already ordered recently, it adjusts so you don't double-up.
The Four Answers
● Order Today
You're within budget and an order is due. The tile shows your suggested order amount — place it with confidence. Staying on your order schedule is how you avoid running out or overspending at month end.
● Slow Down
You've used 70–79% of your dept budget. You can still order, but keep it smaller than usual. Focus on your fastest-moving items only and make sure you have enough left for the rest of the month.
● Caution
80–89% of budget used. Only order what you absolutely need — Core Sellers that are at or near zero. Push everything else to next month. A vendor call today should be short.
● Do Not Order
90%+ of budget used, or the store total is exhausted. Don't place an order for this dept this month. If a vendor calls, tell them you'll pick back up next cycle. Your budget is a commitment — protect it.
Pro tip: Check the BCC before every vendor call. It takes 5 seconds and keeps your buying disciplined all month long — no more end-of-month budget surprises.
